There is an electronic access control system in the university dormitories.

Video surveillance is conducted on all floors of the dormitory to ensure the safety of residents and effective order control.

Security guards are on duty at the dormitories from 23.00 to 7.00 in the morning.

The procedure for accepting applications and documents for a place in a dormitory

  1. To submit an electronic application, you need to https://id.yu.edu.kz / and select “Dormitory”. Open the “Hostel” tab, then open “Apply”.
  2. On the page that opens, fill out Form 2.
  3. upload documents confirming your social status (if available).

The response to the application will be sent to the student’s email address within 3 business days.

To receive a referral for accommodation in a hostel, you must provide the following documents to the social department (3rd floor, office A302):

  • Photo 3*4 – 1 pcs;
  • Payment receipts (for accommodation and deposit);
  • certificate of passing a sanitary inspection (in the medical office of the university);
  • Identification card (for identification)
  • folder for documents – 2 pcs.

Payments

Payments required to move into the hostel:

  1. For accommodation immediately for 1 semester (September-January);
  2. The deposit is a one–time amount (a guarantee of the safety of the hostel’s property).

The order of settlement

  1. The student must check in within three days from the date of receiving the referral for accommodation in the hostel, otherwise the place will be redistributed to other students.
  2. Upon check-in, the student provides the following set of documents to the head of the dormitory:
  • Identification card (for identification)
  • referral for accommodation;
  • payment receipts (for accommodation and deposit);
  • certificate of passing a sanitary inspection.

Head of the dormitory:

1) moves the student into the room indicated in the direction and issues the necessary inventory;

2) draws up an act of acceptance and transfer of premises and inventory.

The student is financially responsible for the premises and property that he accepted according to the “Acceptance and Transfer Act”, and upon eviction, he hands over everything in proper condition.
